7 SMARTPHONE MYTHS - TRUE ?

SMARTPHONES HAVE CHANGED FROM BEING A LUXURY TO A NECESSITY BUT LIKE EVERY OTHER GADGET ,SMARTPHONES ARE ALSO PRONE TO MYTHS AND RUMORS SPREADING ALL AROUND. IN THIS ARTICLE I AM GOING TO SHARE 7 SUCH MYTHS.

#1 SMARTPHONE'S RAM

We often compare our smartphones with our friend's or relatives' phone and the first thing which we take into consideration is RAM. Most of us have a mindset that more RAM means better perfomance, this is correct upto some extent but is does not mean that a smart phone with a 6GB RAM is considerably better than a device with 4GB RAM.

It totally depends on your need that for what purpose you want the mobile phone. Definitely a 8GB mobile phone is a little better than a 4GB one as it allows more apps to run in the background.

So the fact is your smartphone is going to hang with a 8GB RAM if not optimised properly.

#2 TURN OFF THE Wi-Fi or BLUETOOTH TO SAVE BATTERY

I know many of you must be doing the same

It does not matter whether you let the Wi-Fi or Bluetooth turned on, it is not going to kill your battery as the technology has become way smarter than before.

So my dear readers no need to turn off these features and even if you think they are going to affect the battery life , it would be just a minimal decrease in the battery just a .0001 percent and still if you care about this minimal effect than you may turn off the Bluetooth or the Wi-Fi

#3 UPGRADE THE ANDROID VERSION

People believe that updating their phone to the latest version would definitely enhance their smartphone, and in haste to update their phone to get the more features they do harm to themselves.

Your device already have an android and compatible version with it and that version is responsible for smooth functioning of your device .

You may get a better security by updating the version but the performance is not guaranteed, rather your device may start working slowly.

Before updating the version make yourself sure whether you really need those features or not and if you do than you may update it.

#4 SMARTPHONE TRACKING

Most of us think that after putting our mobile device on Airplane mode or switching it off , no one would be able to track us. In fact I also used to think in the same way but this is completely false.

You device can be easily tracked even when it is either switched off or put on Airplane mode because our device has some in-built identifiers which can be detected.
So the only solution to this is either take out the battery out of the phone or use a pouch - this pouch is a certain kind of a pouch which prevents rays around it thus stops the tracking process.

#5 APPS ON GOOGLE PLAY STORE ARE SAFE

It is not necessary that the app you are downloading for use is safe and would not harm your android phone . Certain apps are not safe and may steal your data in some or the other way.
So before downloading such apps make sure they are not harmful and avoid installing u
nnecessary apps.

#6 LINKS SHARED ON WHATSAPP ARE SAFE

Millions of people use whatsapp for exchanging information and in the middle of this process lies the system of sharing harmful links.

Sometimes we get some unusual kind of messages in WhatsApp groups and inbox like click on this link and see the magic happens, click on this link and your WhatsApp colour will change.

This is all a crap and not safe at all .There are chances that by clicking on such links some harmful software may get installed in the background and harm your device in such a way you may have never thought. Avoid clicking on such links.

#7 CHARGING ON AIRPLANE MODE

Another prevailing myth ,many of us still believe that setting the mobile phone on air-plane mode will make it charge at a more rapid rate - absolutely false and some people might think of this as a hack.

It is not any kind of hack ,it is just a myth which you should forget. There is just a nominal effect on the battery which you would not even consider.

So instead of setting it on air-plane mode ,either switch it off or allow it charge in the ordinary way.
