Xiaomi again launched a new budget smartphone redmi y2 which is a successor to the company's previous launched mobile phone Redmi Y1. The device come in two variants - 3GB and 4GB RAM and priced at Rs.9,999 and Rs.12,999 respectively. This device is just competing with their own Redmi Note 5 Pro which looks similar to this one.
Redmi Y2 has a metallic body and weighs 170 grams. The device comes with a 5.99-inch HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio and is powered by the 64 bit qualcom snapdragon octa core processor coupled with adreno 506 GPU. As far as the cameras are concerned, the device supports dual camera setup on the back , with a 12MP primary sensor and 5MP secondary sensor for depth capturing. On the front the phone comes with a 16MP selfie sensor with AI capabilities. talking about the internal storage , there is a 32GB/64gb inbuilt storage expandable via microSD. Redmi Y2 is backed by a 3080mAh battery which is non removable.
Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE , Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11, a 3.5 mm headphone jack and micro-USB 2.0.
